How a session runs

The first session is special, because we need to establish your starting point and your goals. This includes taking a detailed medical history from you.

For continuing sessions we won’t need to spend so long talking at the beginning of a session (unless I feel it would be beneficial for  you). All we will need is a short discussion about how you are and how you felt after the previous session, and then we can get on with the therapy.

Your modesty and privacy will be respected at all times – we’ll discuss and agree how access is given, and I use large, soft towels to drape and cover you during the therapy. Only areas that I am working on will be exposed, so that you remain warm and secure during the treatment.

I always make sure the therapy room is warm and comfortable throughout the session, whatever the weather outside.
